ABOUT THE RELIGIOUS STUDIES TEACHING ROLE

- Position: Religious Education Teacher

- Start Date: Term 3, 2025

- Type: Full time, ongoing

Location: South-East Melbourne

Teaching Allocation Includes:

- • Religious Education – Year 8
• Religious Education – Year 9
• Religious Education – Year 11
• VCE Religion and Society – Unit 1
• Year 8 Pastoral Program

THE IDEAL RELIGIOUS STUDIES TEACHER WILL:

- Hold relevant secondary teaching qualifications (e.g. B.Ed., M.Teach)





- Be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

- Demonstrate excellent teaching practice and student-centred learning strategies

- Have a sound understanding of Catholic education and contribute positively to the faith life of the school

- Build inclusive and respectful classroom environments that support student wellbeing
