Materials Design Teacher

Commencement: Term 4, 2025 (or earlier by negotiation)

Prospero Teaching are representing a College who are seeking an experienced Materials Design Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive learning community. This full time ongoing position offers the opportunity to teach a practical, hands-on curriculum while inspiring students to develop their creativity and technical skills.

Term 4 Teaching Load (may be negotiable based on preferred teaching methods):

- Year 8 Materials Design and Production (2 classes)

- Year 9 Materials Design and Production

- Year 10 Materials Design and Production

- Year 8 Electronics

The ideal Materials Design Teacher:

- Experienced in teaching Materials Design across Years 8–10

- Confident delivering Electronics classes

- Strong classroom management, differentiation, and hands-on teaching skills

- Passionate about engaging students in practical and creative learning

- Current or pending VIT registration
