Responsibilities

- Provide on‑demand mechanical drafting services for 2D and 3D machine component drawings.
- Prepare drawings in accordance with company drawing standards.
- Produce drawings to support competitive quoting for local fabrication and manufacturing of parts.
- Specify suitable materials on drawings and collaborate with fabrication vendors as required.
- Attend site when required to support service improvements.
- Coordinate the 3D scanning process, enabling parts to be scanned at Millicent and converted into production drawings.
- Ensure all completed drawings are saved to the company server.
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and drone pilots.
- Assist with project data entry, scheduling, and documentation.

Requirements

- Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting (MEM40422) or equivalent in CAD/Drafting/Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years in mechanical drafting,



preferably in manufacturing or fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
- Familiarity with Australian engineering drawing standards (AS 1100 series).
- Strong ability to collaborate with engineers, vendors, and service teams.
- Full Australian working rights for the duration of the contract.
