About the role:

Tracey Michelle McFarlane T/A Subway Merredin is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining Subway's operational standards, and managing staff, stock, sales and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Planning and coordinating restaurant operations, including staffing, food preparation and customer service.
- Recruiting, training, supervising and rostering restaurant staff.
- Monitoring employee performance and ensuring staff comply with workplace policies and procedures.
- Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and customer service.
- Managing stock levels, ordering food, beverages and other restaurant supplies.
- Monitoring inventory and minimising wastage.
- Managing restaurant budgets, operational costs and financial performance.
- Reviewing sales performance and implementing strategies to improve revenue and profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and relevant regulatory requirements.




- Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints in a professional manner.
- Coordinating promotional activities and implementing Subway marketing campaigns and special offers.
- Maintaining restaurant equipment, facilities and presentation standards.
- Liaising with suppliers and other service providers where required.
- Ensuring compliance with Subway franchise procedures, policies and brand standards.

Skills and Experience:

- Relevant diploma or adv diploma in hospitality. Adequate experience may be acceptable in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Previous experience in restaurant, fast-food or hospitality management is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Good understanding of stock control, rostering, budgeting and restaurant operations.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.
