- Supporting company secretarial and governance activities, including ASIC compliance.
- Managing cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning, including a rolling 12-month view, and monitoring banking facilities and covenant compliance.
- Maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules, and supporting capital expenditure analysis and investment appraisals.
- Acting as the finance lead on payroll reporting and workforce analytics, including labour cost reporting and payroll KPIs.
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems,
automation and reporting across the finance function.
- Partnering closely with the CFO and leadership team, and building strong working relationships across Sales and Operations.
What you'll bring:
- CA or CPA qualification, with proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role within an ASX-listed workplace - this is a must.
- Experience within a manufacturing, agribusiness or food production environment is also essential.
- Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting knowledge, with experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits.
- A solid understanding of tax compliance and treasury management, including covenant and facility reporting.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems skills.
- Exposure to payroll reporting and workforce analytics is a plus.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work both strategically and hands-on.
Why this one's worth considering:
- 130-140k + super (flexible)
- Melbourne CBD location. Only 2 days onsite per week.
- Direct exposure to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team
- A role that spans financial control, treasury, compliance and commercial support
- A genuine opportunity to shape systems and processes as the business continues to grow.
- It's a collaborative culture with real scope for career progression.
