The Role
A great career opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join our client's national Finance team in the Melbourne office. In this role, you will support the Finance Manager with key finance deliverables on a monthly basis and assist the wider Finance Team, providing back-up and support across all areas.

Key accountabilities and deliverables include:

- Produce accurate monthly management reports on a timely basis
- Assist with leasing
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reporting
- Complete monthly BAS and other returns
- Quarterly reporting
- Payment reporting
- Ad-hoc reporting for management and partners
- Assist in the month-end process




- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Trust Accounting assistance

Successful applicants will have 5+ years experience in either Financial/Managment Accounting or Business Partnering.

Key competencies:

- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of work produced in a timely manner
- Good understanding of accounting principles and their application
- Ability to complete BAS returns and an understanding of IFRS principles
- Good knowledge of applicable systems
- Plans and organises work effectively and efficiently
- Strong ability to build lasting relationships
