A friendly conversation and shared interests can make all the difference. This volunteer opportunity involves spending time with a lovely client who enjoys the simple pleasures of good company, whether that's chatting over a cuppa or heading out for a relaxing drive.

The client has a creative spirit and enjoys gardening, animals and a variety of craft activities, including knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing and card-making. Music is an significant part of their life, particularly jazz and classical, and they also enjoy watching British television programs on ABC and SBS.

This is a wonderful opportunity to build a genuine connection through regular visits, meaningful conversations and shared interests, while helping to reduce social isolation and brighten someone's day.

Requirements18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for an hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
