We’re seeking a friendly social volunteer to enjoy weekly one-hour visits with a gentleman who has a passion for creative writing, puzzles, and keeping up with sport on the radio.

He would love the opportunity to share stories, discuss ideas, tackle a puzzle together, or chat about the latest sporting results and commentary. Your visits would provide valued companionship and meaningful social connection.

Whether you’re a wordsmith, a puzzle enthusiast, a sports fan, or simply someone who enjoys a positive conversation, your company could make a real difference to his week.

If you enjoy stimulating chats, sharing interests, and helping someone stay connected, we’d love to hear from you—this could be the most rewarding chapter of your week.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Flexible times: anywhere between 9am and 4pm
