Your new role
As Director of Data Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across enterprise data platforms, data engineering, data architecture, data modelling and reporting services. You will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for the delivery, support and continuous improvement of critical data platforms including Snowflake, Data Lake environments, Talend, SAS, enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms. You will oversee data integration, platform performance, service management, operational support, data quality and governance frameworks while driving platform modernisation initiatives and the adoption of Agile and DevOps delivery practices. Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you will help shape the future direction of enterprise data capabilities while ensuring platforms remain scalable, reliable and aligned to evolving business priorities. What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring a demonstrated track record leading enterprise data services,



data engineering functions or large-scale data platform environments within complex organisations. You will possess extensive experience in enterprise data architecture, data modelling, data integration, data warehousing and operational platform support. Strong leadership capability, stakeholder engagement skills and experience building high-performing technical teams will be critical to your success. Experience with modern cloud-based data ecosystems and technologies such as Snowflake, Talend, SAS, Data Lake platforms, Teradata or comparable enterprise data technologies will be highly regarded. Experience delivering major platform transformation, migration or modernisation programmes and establishing robust governance, quality and operational frameworks will position you strongly for this opportunity.
