Design, implement, and optimize high-performance APAC networks supporting trading environments, combining low-latency connectivity, advanced routing, automation, security, and operational excellence across critical infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

1. Design, implement, and support high-performance APAC networking infrastructure.
2. Build and maintain low-latency connectivity to trading venues, data centers, enterprise environments, and backbone networks.
3. Work with unicast and multicast routing, BGP, PIM-SM, PTP, QoS, NAT, and protocol tuning.
4. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively strengthen infrastructure reliability.
5. Contribute to network automation using Bash and Python.
6. Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.
7. Manage enterprise firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies.
8. Collaborate with vendors, exchanges, and external providers on new technologies and services.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining highly available, resilient, and performance-focused network infrastructure.
2. Investigating and resolving complex network and connectivity challenges.
3. Implementing critical infrastructure changes, including occasional work outside standard business hours.
4. Developing automation that improves operational efficiency and reduces manual intervention.
5. Supporting security platforms and ensuring network infrastructure aligns with security requirements.
6. Partnering with software, systems, infrastructure, and other technical teams.

About You:

1. 5+ years of qualified network engineering experience.
2. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and high-performance networking concepts.
3. Hands-on experience with routing, switching, BGP, multicast, PTP, QoS, NAT, and protocol optimization.
4. Experience with enterprise firewalls, VPNs, and network security platforms.
5. Comfortable scripting and automating operational tasks using Bash or Python.
6. Highly analytical, accurate, and comfortable investigating complex technical problems.
7. Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Collaborative mindset with the confidence to work across multiple engineering teams.
9. Willingness to challenge conventional approaches and explore beyond textbook networking concepts.
