About the Role
As a Family Connections Support Worker, you’ll provide practical, engaging and family-focused support across the Cowra region. No two days will be the same. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with families and the community through:

- Individual family support
- Supported playgroups
- Parent and peer support groups
- Parent education and information sessions
- School holiday activities
- Community events and engagement activities
- Connecting families with services, resources and their local community

You’ll build genuine relationships,



identify opportunities for families to overcome challenges and help create positive experiences and stronger connections within the community.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, confident and community-minded, with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. You’ll bring:

- Experience in Children’s Services, Community Services or a similar human services environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to advocate, negotiate and build effective community networks
- Confidence working independently while contributing positively to a team
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine commitment to supporting children and families to achieve positive outcomes
- A willingness to travel as required
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NSW Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Ability to successfully obtain a National Criminal History Check

The Opportunity
This is a fixed-term, part-time position of 18 hours per week, providing parental leave backfill until 14 March 2027.
