With projects ranging from 3–6 months, you'll be working on contemporary distribution centres and industrial facilities installing conveyor systems and mechanical equipment. These are clean, well-managed indoor sites with no weather interruptions and consistent overtime available.

Mechanical Fitters

- $52.00 per hour + Super + Overtime
- Average Weekly Earnings: ~$3,380 before tax

Trade Assistants

- $38.00 – $44.00 per hour + Super + Overtime

The Role

- Mechanical installation of conveyor systems and materials handling equipment
- Equipment assembly, alignment and fit-off
- Assisting with installation and commissioning works
- Reading and interpreting installation drawings (Fitters)
- Working safely within industrial construction environments

Requirements

- Current Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle
- White Card
- Ability to commit to 50–60 hour work weeks

Highly Regarded

- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Rigging Ticket
- EWP Ticket
- Previous conveyor or materials handling installation experience
