About the Position

Kesari Infused Indian Cuisine is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef/Cook to join our professional kitchen team at our Hope Island location. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality food in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of Indian dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, portion sizes, and overall food quality.
- Assist with menu preparation, ingredient selection, recipe planning, and food costing.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain appropriate food preparation, storage, and handling procedures in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
- Assist with stock ordering and minimize food wastage while maintaining quality.
- Work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.




- Follow workplace health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Chef/Cook.
- Demonstrated experience preparing Indian cuisine and knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
