About the role
We're currently searching for a Registered Nurse (Quality & Clinical Governance Officer) to join our Residential Aged Care team in Roebourne. This is a key role for someone passionate about quality care, clinical excellence, compliance, education, and continuous improvement.
We're looking for someone who can champion best practice, support accreditation and governance activities, mentor clinical teams, and help drive outstanding outcomes for our residents and community

Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate quality, clinical governance, compliance, education, and continuous improvement activities
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, management, and community stakeholders
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through education, coaching, auditing, risk management, and quality assurance processes
- Provide leadership and guidance to managers and clinical teams to strengthen clinical practice
- Enhance workforce capability and manage risk to improve resident outcomes
- Support accreditation and audit preparedness
- Monitor quality indicators
- Investigate incidents and complaints
- Ensure effective clinical governance systems are embedded throughout the service
- Partner with teams to implement sustainable improvements while maintaining focus on resident wellbeing, regulatory compliance, and organisational excellence
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in aged care, governance, compliance, or care management
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
- Experience with audits, continuous improvement, risk management, and clinical governance
- Ability to educate, mentor and support clinical teams
- AN-ACC knowledge highly regarded
- Experience working in regional, remote and/or Aboriginal communities will be highly valued
