Youth Engagement Officer – Drive to the Future
Based in Collie, WA
Part-Time or Casual Role - $36.71 - $45.28 per hour plus penalties
Must be available: Wednesday 2pm – 6pm, Thursday 2pm – 6pm and Friday 2pm – 8pm.

Become a Youth Engagement Officer at Collie PCYC within our Drive to the Future program!

Our Drive to the Future program supports young people who face barriers to getting their driver's license, supporting them through every stage from collecting identification, completing theory and practical driving tests, and achieving their logbook hours.

As a Youth Engagement Officer, you will be a positive role model and provide practical in-car guidance for young people to reach their goal of obtaining a Driver's License.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Youth Program Coordinator, you will:

- Provide hands-on guidance for young people as they work towards their driver's license and broader life goals. This includes being in the car and providing supervised log book driving hours.
- Foster a safe, supportive and empowering setting where young people can thrive.
- Support in running an effective, inclusive and high-impact program.

About you:

- Experience working with or engaging at-risk youth and a genuine passion for empowering young people
- Current WA Driver's License (held for a minimum 4 years)
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Current Senior Fist Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Possess a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance with no driving limitations.
- Cert IV in Youth Work or Community Services, or relevant experience is highly desirable.
