Our client is an established and highly regarded business within the agriculture sector, with operations across domestic and international markets. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to manage the payroll function while supporting Accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end duties.

The Role

As a Payroll & Accounts Officer, you’ll play a key role in payroll and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while supporting the Finance Team. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing, including all associated queries, reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Awards & legislation, including award interpretation, overtime and public holidays.
- Reconciling payroll hours and proactively following up managers for roster and shift approvals.
- Accounts payable processing, including invoice processing through document capture system, accounts inbox management and supplier reconciliations.
- Supporting accounts receivable through allocating customer receipts, bank reconciliations, issuing of customer statements and follow up overdue accounts.
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting and reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations, STP,



Payroll Tax, WorkCover and payroll audits.

About You

You bring experience in end-to-end payroll processing, as well as accounts payable and receivables. You’re confident using accounting and payroll systems, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics, Continia and FoundU being an added advantage. Your keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities and organisational skills will set you up for success in this role. You’re comfortable working autonomously, while also enjoying being part of a collaborative and supportive team. A genuine interest in the agricultural sector is also a plus!
