The organisation provides individualised, evidence-based occupational therapy within clients' homes and community settings. The caseload is focused specifically on neurological conditions, including both acquired and neurodegenerative presentations, with services delivered primarily across NDIS and TAC funding streams.

About the Role

n chance is available for an Occupational Therapist Contractor to take on an established community caseload as an existing clinician prepares to commence maternity leave.

The practice has continued to receive regular referrals and is looking for someone who can provide continuity for current clients while also supporting new referrals as they come through.

The caseload is approximately 60% NDIS and 40% TAC, although this may vary slightly depending on referrals. Clients present with a broad range of acquired and neurodegenerative neurological conditions.

You will provide community-based occupational therapy including comprehensive assessment, intervention, equipment recommendations and functional reporting. Depending on your experience, your work may also include assistive technology, home modifications, seating, pressure care and manual handling.

The role pays $140 per hour and offers flexibility around workload and scheduling. Applicants must be able to commit to at least one full day per week, with scope to increase days depending on availability and referral demand.

An established caseload can be handed over toward the end of October,



providing continuity rather than requiring you to build your workload entirely from scratch.

What You'll Need

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Victorian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Appropriate NDIS, police and Working With Children checks where required
- Australian working rights
- Ability to work independently within a community-based caseload
- Strong clinical reasoning, report writing and communication skills
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, disability, assistive technology or community OT will be highly regarded
