Sante Recruitment is seeking experienced and highly motivated Emergency Medicine Consultants (FACEM) to join the Emergency Department at St John of God Geelong Hospital.
These positions are initially offered on a fixed-term basis to provide leave cover, with the potential for successful applicants to transition into permanent roles.
Multiple opportunities are available, totalling up to 2.0 FTE, with the flexibility to appoint one or more Consultants. Appointment duration and FTE allocation will be determined according to departmental requirements and service needs.

The Role As an Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will provide specialist emergency care across a broad range of presentations, including the management of high-acuity and complex patients.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the ongoing development of the Emergency Department.

About You You will be an experienced Emergency Medicine specialist with:

- FACEM or equivalent professional membership




- Demonstrated substantial experience managing high-acuity patients
- Experience working within a complex hospital environment
- Strong clinical leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to clinical quality, patient safety and continuous improvement
- A strong commitment to teaching and professional development

Remuneration & BenefitsAttractive remuneration package $384,257 – $480,321 + 12% superannuation
Pro rata for part-time appointments.
