We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter with strong preventative and breakdown maintenance experience for a ongoing role with a leading packaging manufacturer in the Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical fitting duties on Manufacturing Equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and fault finding activities
- Support manufacturing improvement as required
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions to complete tasks safely and accurately




- Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS requirements, quality standards, and site procedures

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential)
- Relevant Australian trade qualification (essential)
- Experience in Manufacturing industrial environments (advantage)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
- Basic welding skills (advantage)
- Basic Machining skills (advantage)
- Strong commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
