Secondary Manual Arts Teacher – Carlisle Adventist College

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd. is seeking a creative, dynamic and committed secondary teacher to join the team at Carlisle Adventist College. This is a part time, fixed-term teaching position commencing as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the 2026 school year, with a focus on Manual Arts and Design Technologies.

The successful applicant will provide engaging, practical learning experiences while maintaining a safe and well-managed workshop environment.



The role includes planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, assessing student learning, and appropriately managing workshop tools, equipment and materials.

Application Requirements

The successful applicant will:

- hold a relevant teaching qualification at degree level;
- be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers;
- have the knowledge and practical skills required to teach secondary Manual Arts and Design Technologies;
- demonstrate a strong commitment to workshop safety and effective classroom management; and
- be supportive of the ethos and values of Seventh-day Adventist education.
