ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

The Administration and Project Officer provides high-level administrative, coordination and project support to the Integrated Risk Management team. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of business unit operations through the provision of administrative services, meeting and event coordination, records and data management, and project support.

The Administration and Project Officer role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, sound judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality. They also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and supports the successful delivery of key risk,



governance, safety and compliance activities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintain and update business systems, databases and records, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and accessibility of information.
- Assist with the preparation, formatting and distribution of reports, correspondence, presentations and other business documentation.
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, corporate events and stakeholder meetings, including venue bookings, catering, registrations and supporting materials.
- Manage and maintain intranet and other information platforms to ensure content remains current, accurate and accessible.

Essential to this role is demonstrated experience delivering high-level administrative and business support, with Certificate IV qualifications in Business Administration or equivalent experience, complemented by a proven commitment to customer service excellence, with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes for a diverse range of stakeholders.

This position is offered on a Term contract, Full-time basis working 35 hours per week until August 2027. Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 7 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $70,505 - $79,308 per annum plus superannuation.
