As we expand into regenerative medicine and continue to grow our manufacturing capability, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to help strengthen our Quality Management System and support the next stage of our journey.

You will join an experienced Quality team at an exciting time as Maverick Bio expands into regenerative medicine. You will play an important role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality standards while helping improve systems, support compliance and drive continuous improvement across the business.

From reviewing manufacturing records and supporting product release through to participating in audits, investigations and process improvements, your work will directly contribute to products that make a meaningful difference to people’s lives.

What you will be doing

Working closely with Manufacturing, Technical and Supply Chain teams, you will:

- Review manufacturing and quality records to ensure accuracy and compliance before product release.
- Support and improve Maverick’s Quality Management System.
- Coordinate document control, change control, and quality records.
- Participate in investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Analyse quality trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support supplier quality activities, audits and risk management processes.
- Help improve quality systems, reporting,



and operational processes.
- Build strong working relationships across the business to promote quality thinking and shared ownership of outcomes.

What success looks like

In your first 12 months you will become a trusted member of the Quality team by:

- Confidently managing core quality processes with minimal supervision.
- Supporting compliant product release through accurate review of quality documentation.
- Building strong relationships with Manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
- Contributing ideas that improve efficiency, compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Actively participating in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Developing broader capability across quality systems, validation and regulatory activities as the business continues to grow.

What you will bring

We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in quality who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and continuously improving the way things are done.

You will ideally bring:

Essential

- Around 2–3 years’ experience working within a Quality function in manufacturing or a related regulated environment.
- Experience working within ISO 9001 or similar certified Quality Management Systems.
- A degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving.
- Confidence working across different teams and building positive stakeholder relationships.




- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous, but not essential:

- ISO 13485 or other regulated quality standards.
- Internal or external auditing.
- Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Validation activities.
- Manufacturing within biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical, food, or beverage industries.
- Power Apps, SharePoint, Jet Reports or advanced Excel capability.
