We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and people-focused HR professional who loves helping people and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate IV in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- High level skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality customer service.
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources administration.
- Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HR systems.
What you will be doing
The People and Development Administration Officer provides high-quality administrative and operational support to the People and Development team, ensuring the productive delivery of people services across the employee lifecycle. In this role you will:
- Coordinate recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies, drafting engaging job advertisements, preparing employment documentation, and ensuring candidates complete all required pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Coordinate mandatory compliance requirements, including Working with Children Checks, National Police Checks, licences and professional registrations.
- Manage the People and Development inbox, responding to enquiries and escalating complex matters where appropriate.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards and workforce data for managers and Executive.
