About The Lion
The Lion is no ordinary local. Beginning life as The Lion Brewery and Malthouse in 1870, the venue has evolved from a Victorian brewery to a legendary live-music destination and the lively North Adelaide hotel it is today.
With an award-winning restaurant, bustling bistro, garden bar, functions, live entertainment and a dedicated wine room, there’s always something happening. We’re proud of our history, passionate about great hospitality and focused on giving every guest a reason to return.
What you’ll be doing
- Welcoming guests and making them feel at home
- Serving delicious food, coffee, wine, beer and cocktails
- Working across our restaurant, bistro, bar and function spaces
- Taking orders and processing payments
- Keeping service areas clean, organised and ready for action
- Working with a fun, energetic team during busy services
- Helping turn an ordinary visit into a great Lion story
Who we’re looking for
You’ll fit right in if you:
- Bring a positive attitude and plenty of personality
- Genuinely enjoy meeting and looking after people
- Work well in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Are reliable, organised and a great team player
- Can work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- Have hospitality experience—or the enthusiasm to learn
