North Coast Kids Therapy is expanding, and we are looking for an Occupational Therapist & Speech Pathologist to join our close-knit team, paediatric team.

Our Grafton Clinic, is located in the vibrant Jacaranda City, a stunning regional town just 30–45 minutes from beautiful beaches and close to the stunning Yuraygir National Park. Our Woolgoolga Clinic, is situated centrally in the beachside community, a short walk from beaches, restaurants and shops.

We offer both clinic-based and mobile services, with:

About the Role - OT & SP:

You will work with children and families using holistic, neuro-affirming and play-based approaches. Your role includes:

- Conduct a variety of assessments with access to a variety of standardised tools to ensure best practice in paediatrics

- Deliver meaningful, play-based and family-centred therapy

- Time to liaise with teachers, doctors, and other professionals

- Time to complete documentation and progress notes within reasonable expectations

- Contribute to therapy groups, intensives, and quality improvement

- Participate in professional development and team learning

Essential Criteria:

- Recognised Bachelor/Masters qualification (OT or SP)

- Relevant professional registration (AHPRA / SPA)

- Skilled Liability Insurance

- Ability/willingness to obtain:

- Medicare Provider Number (to be completed on commencement of employment)

- Working With Children Check

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel

Desired Skills:

Occupational Therapy

- Paediatric experience desired

- Sensory Integration

- NDT

- DIR/Floortime

- Training in Neuro-affirming, strengths based and play based approaches.

Speech Pathology:

- Paediatric experience desired

- Hanen programs (e.g., It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words)

- Intensive Interaction

- Literacy training e.g. Sounds Write

- Training in Neuro-affirming, strengths based and play based approaches.

Employment Details:

- Positions available for immediate start

- Part-time options available

- Wages paid based on an employment scale, based on experience and clinical level (early career, intermediate, senior). Progression occurs annually and/or when advancing to a new level.
