On Highway Aftersales Representative

An exciting opportunity has become available for an On-Highway Aftersales Representative to join our Mackay Branch.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the Mackay market, enjoys being out with customers and has a genuine interest in heavy vehicles, parts and aftermarket solutions.

Mackay is a thriving regional hub supporting the mining, resources, transport, agriculture and engineering industries. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships across a diverse customer base and play an important role in keeping local businesses moving.

Working across Mackay and the surrounding region, you'll become a trusted partner for your customers, promoting genuine parts, workshop services and preventative maintenance solutions while working closely with our experienced Parts and Service teams.

Whether your background is in truck parts, heavy vehicle, automotive, mining equipment or another related industry, we're interested in people who understand customers, know how to build relationships and are motivated to grow a territory.

What will you do?

- Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities

- Promote genuine truck parts, workshop services and preventative maintenance solutions

- Work closely with the Branch Parts and Service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes

- Develop account plans and maintain customer activity through our CRM system

- Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities through to completion

- Identify cross-selling opportunities across Penske's products and services

- Build relationships across Mackay's transport, mining, agriculture and industrial sectors

- Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and customer trends

- Achieve agreed sales, revenue and gross profit targets

About you:





We're looking for someone who understands the importance of strong customer relationships and can build credibility with customers from day one.

You'll ideally bring:

- Experience in truck parts, heavy vehicle, automotive, mining equipment or aftermarket sales

- Knowledge of the On-Highway truck or heavy equipment industry

- Experience working with European truck brands highly regarded

- Strong customer relationship and account management skills

- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales opportunities

- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer activity

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent time management

- A genuine understanding of the Mackay and surrounding regional market highly regarded

- Current driver's licence
