Scheduler
Full-time | Forrestfield, WA | Regular travel to our manufacturing sites
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and coordinating across multiple teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing
- Maintain and report on the master production schedule, ensuring it aligns with customer requirements and business targets.
- Support the Master Scheduler in maximising production throughput across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Monitor production progress and identify deviations, risks, issues and scheduling conflicts.
- Provide accurate production information and reporting, including production hours, units, departmental targets and actual output.
- Assist with planning and scheduling workflows across departments and operations.
- Validate and firm production MRP jobs on a daily basis.
- Investigate and action job and transfer orders as required.
- Prepare accurate reports, dashboards and visualisations to communicate production status, key metrics and performance.
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Production and other stakeholders to communicate schedule changes and resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, tools and methodologies.
- Travel to other BRE manufacturing sites as required.
- Contribute to a solid safety culture and always demonstrate a commitment to the health and wellbeing of yourself and others.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with strong scheduling or production planning experience who enjoys working with data and people to keep things moving.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling or a similar role.
- Robust knowledge of scheduling, production planning, demand management, purchasing and cost accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
- Experience working with ERP systems and MRP processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and stakeholder groups.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritise,
adapt to changing requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with EPICOR is highly desirable.
- A formal qualification in project management, production management or a related discipline will be advantageous.
