Job Description

This is a locum doctor role for a Psychiatry Registrar at Shellharbour in NSW. ### Role Info ### Job Description Reg @ $180 Locum vacancy is at Shellharbour Maybe required to attend Wollongong hospital if on call roster provided on CV approval $139 per night accommodation allowance Reviewing patients in an inpatient, community CAMHS setting or ED ensuring appropriate referral to the relevant team.

- Ensuring that all reports and forms required under the government legislation are completed legally and within the

required timeframes.

- Assessment along with a clinician/ consultant of current clients and their families/carers referred to the service
- An active role in delivering short term evidence based treatment to clients of the service and participating in the

management of these clients and their families/carers.

- Involvement in developing relationships with governmental and non-governmental agencies involved in the treatment

of clients and families under their care





- Ensuring appropriate transfer of care arrangements for all clients and families under their care in collaboration with

Team Leader and team members

- Completing discharge summaries within required time frames
- Ensuring Liaison occurs with the GP or other primary care personnel and also community mental health staff
