Job Description

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Concept and detailed electrical power systems designs
- Electrical Power Network modelling and studies
- Renewable energy systems planning
- Commissioning testing supervision

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Essential:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; certified by Engineers Australia
- 3+ years of experience in similar roles
- Experience interpreting specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and use
- Experience in Power systems modelling,
- Experience in either Power Generation, Power Transmission, Distribution and/or Traction.

Desirable:

- Experience in design (studies, drawings and specifications) of electrical power systems
- Experience determining arrangements of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines and other equipment
- Experience in telemetry and control systems
- Experience supervising commissioning, operation or maintenance of electrical power systems
- Experience organizing and managing resources

- Organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Skills to co-ordinate design meetings, and work within a client workplace alongside other subject matter experts;
