You'll be involved in installing, maintaining, and commissioning a wide range of Communications and Electrical systems across commercial, industrial, mining, and government environments.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with radio and communications installations
- Data cabling and fibre optic infrastructure
- Electrical installations and maintenance
- Equipment assembly and workshop preparation
- Testing and fault finding of communications systems
- Working on critical communications networks
- Site-based and workshop-based projects
- Learning industry-leading technologies and systems
About you
- Genuine interest in communications, technology, electronics, or electrical trades
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow procedures and work safely
- Reliable and punctual
- Current driver's licence (or working towards obtaining one)
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with electronics, computers, radios,
or networking (highly regarded)
- Trade pre-apprenticeship (highly regarded)
