The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Sludge Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at the Moomba Sludge Treatment Plant (5710). As a Sludge Treatment Plant Operator, you will be responsible for sampling, daily operation and maintenance tasks.

What you'll be responsible for

Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the sludge treatment plant, complying with OHS requirementsUnderstand all process, maintenance and operational issues occurring on a day to day basisPerform routine work orders, preventive maintenance and breakdown tasks as directedMonitor plant operations and assist in plant optimisationUndertake sample collection and laboratory analysisUndertake process troubleshooting and problem solving whilst identifying process improvementsCarry out routine maintenance duties including managing resources, tools,



and equipmentContributing to a safety first and continuous improvement culture

What you'll need to be successful

Current car licenceExperience in plant operations preferred (or currently studying related field with site experience)Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment is preferredAbility to work independently and unsupervised
