Are you a skilled Security Technician/Cabler looking for your next opportunity?

We’re looking for a qualified, experienced and motivated Security Technician/Cabler to join our team. Immediate work is available for the right candidate, with exciting new projects underway across commercial and residential MDU building sites.

Working alongside our Project Manager, you’ll play an significant role in delivering high-quality CCTV, security, access control, intercom and structured cabling installations, while also assisting with optical fibre cabling and associated devices.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for installing, terminating and commissioning a range of security and communications systems, including:

- CCTV and security camera systems

- Alarm systems

- Access Control systems

- Intercom systems

- Cat6 / Structured Cabling

- Optical Fibre Cabling and devices

- Running cables through conduits, cable tray and other pathways

- Working on new Commercial & Residential MDU construction sites

- Working independently and as part of a professional team

- Ensuring all installations meet a high standard of quality, safety and workmanship

- Completing projects efficiently and within scheduled timeframes





WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have:

- Construction Industry White Card

- ACMA Licence with Structured Cabling and Fibre endorsements

- Current Driver’s Licence

- Asbestos Awareness Card

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the construction industry

- Proven experience installing CCTV, Alarm, Access Control and Intercom systems

- Experience running cables in conduits and cable tray

- Optical Fibre Cabling experience — preferable

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills

- A commitment to delivering work to the highest standard of workmanship

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

- Ability to work to schedules and complete projects on time

- Travel may be required - Flexibilty with hours

DESIRABLE — BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

- Security Licence

- EWP Licence

- Working at Heights certification
