A well-established builder is seeking an experienced Design & Drafting Manager to lead and develop its drafting and design functions.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established manager who can provide direction, drive process improvement and maintain high standards across a busy residential environment.

The Role

- Lead and mentor the Drafting and Design functions.
- Oversee team performance, workflow and project deadlines.
- Drive quality, consistency and continuous improvement across processes.
- Provide technical guidance across residential drafting and design.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and internal requirements.
- Manage internal and outsourced drafting workloads.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across construction, estimating, sales and approvals.

About You

- Proven experience in a Drafting / Design Management position with a WA builder.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Solid technical knowledge across residential drafting and design.




- Process-driven with a focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing a high-volume workplace.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A supportive and practical leadership style with the ability to build strong relationships across a team.
