About Us
Budding Sproutz Miniversity is a proudly Western Australian, family-owned early learning centre located in East Victoria Park. Our purpose-built centre provides a welcoming environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to lead our administrative team and oversee the smooth running of the centre’s office operations.
About the Role
As the Office Manager, you will oversee the centre’s day-to-day office operations and lead the administrative support team.
As the Office Manager, you will oversee the centre’s day-to-day administrative operations and be responsible for key functions including administration, human resources and finance coordination, facilities and resource management, compliance, and internal coordination.
You will be responsible for maintaining productive office systems, coordinating key administrative and business support functions, and ensuring the centre’s operations are supported to a high professional standard.
This is a hands-on role suited to an organised and experienced professional who can manage competing priorities, support a busy team and contribute to the continued improvement of the centre’s administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the centre’s day-to-day office operations and administrative systems.
- Lead the administrative team, allocate responsibilities and monitor work performance.
- Plan and allocate administrative resources, including staff support, office space, equipment and supplies.
- Review office procedures and service standards and implement improvements to support efficient operations.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee records, leave, training, performance review and payroll administration in consultation with management.
- Manage the centre’s office records and accounts administration, ensuring enrolment,
employee, family account and supplier records are accurate, complete and properly maintained
- Liaise with the external accountant and ensure that required financial and payroll information is supplied accurately and on time.
- Coordinate office equipment, maintenance, purchasing and relationships with external service providers.
- Support compliance across the centre’s administrative operations, including workplace health and safety, privacy, recordkeeping and internal policies and procedures.
- Liaise with management, employees, families and external professionals to resolve administrative and operational matters.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and other business documentation for management.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, management, education or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in office management or administrative operations, preferably within early learning, education or another regulated environment.
- Confidence in managing office systems, administrative processes and electronic records.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workplace.
- A current National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain them.
- The ability to speak a language other than English will be highly regarded
