The Opportunity:
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our People and Culture team, based in Perth's CBD.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow your career by receiving hands on support and development from an experienced People & Culture team.
A key focus of this role will be supporting our Talent Acquisition Partner with a busy recruitment portfolio, where priorities can change at a moment's notice. You'll use your exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills to confidentially and professionally liaise with stakeholders at all levels, helping to deliver positive recruitment outcomes in a timely and effective manner.
The role:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including preparing position descriptions, creating and advertising vacancies across different channels, shortlisting, phone screening, interviews, reference checks, employment contracts and background checks
- Input, manage, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the Recruitment System.
- Coordinator employee onboarding documentation, including issuing payroll documentation, submitting IT requests and preparing onboarding agendas.
- Provide completed employee documentation to Payroll for processing.
- Liaise confidently and professionally with stakeholders across the business, escalating issues where required.
- Support the wider People & Culture team with employee records, employee enquiries and general administration as required.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1+ year's relevant experience in a similar HR, recruitment or administration role.
- Certificate IV or higher in Human Resource Management and/or Employment Relations (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent organisational, attention to detail and time management skills.
- The ability to attend recruitment Fairs, including occasional overnight stays.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- The ability to adapt quickly and confidently manage changing priorities.
- Strong judgement and the ability to escalate, report and communicate issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A willingness to take on new responsibilities and opportunities as they arise.
- A team-oriented approach and willingness to support training and development initiatives where required.
- Experience with Workday or another HRIS (desirable, but not essential).
