Business Development Executive - AFS Group

We currently have an excellent prospect available to drive the success of the AUS Fleet Solutions Group business by delivering effective account management and pursuing new business development opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Sales - Europcar & AFS Group, this is a pivotal role within the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for a portfolio of AUS Fleet Solutions fixed operations current customers and new business customers, as well as being responsible for call cycle and sales KPI targets and a number of key business and activity metrics. The BDE will ensure enduring robust relationships are formed and maintained to the highest level to achieve the business objectives.

Motivated and driven, your demonstrated experience in effective relationship management, customer service and a proven track record in sales will ensure you are able to hit the ground running in this opportunity. Exceptional time management skills coupled with your passion for sales will support your success in this 'hands on' role.





The successful candidate will be required to;

- Achieve the individual objectives of the strategic sales plan

- Account management and retention / growth

- New business development activity and conversion targets

- Undertake travel and field sales activity in the non-metro regions as required

- Attend networking and corporate hospitality functions

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a business to business sales role

- Proven sales, account management and business development experience in a competitive environment

- Excellent communication skills and sound interpersonal skills with experience in influencing others

- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads

- Car and Truck rental experience as well as exposure to the 4WD accessory industry would be viewed favourably

- Relevant WA industry knowledge of the auto mechanical maintenance & servicing and smash repairs sectors

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol test.
