About the role

Gibson Dentistry is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team in Traralgon, Victoria. This is a casual role, the right applicant may have the option of ongoing employment with the option to transition to part time.

What you'll be doing

- Answering Patient telephone calls

- Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures

- Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments

- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are well-stocked

- Greeting and welcoming patients, and providing excellent customer service

- Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records

- Ensuring the dental practice adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within the dental industry is preferred, but not required

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and equipment





- A passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment

- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well as part of a team
