About the role

Golf Cars Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team in Helensvale, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work within a growing automotive sales environment, specialising in golf cars and related vehicles. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building strong customer relationships whilst representing our brand to clients throughout the region. This role is integral to achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence in Queensland.

Key responsibilities

- Greet and engage prospective customers visiting our dealership, establishing rapport and understanding their specific needs and requirements

- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about our golf car range, features, specifications and benefits

- Develop and present tailored solutions that align with customer preferences and budgets

- Negotiate sales terms and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements whilst maximising profitability

- Process sales documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

- Build and maintain a database of customer information and follow up on leads to generate repeat business and referrals

- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure exceptional customer service and a positive buying experience

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and market conditions to remain competitive





- Participate in training and professional development to continuously enhance sales techniques and product knowledge

What we're looking for

- Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within automotive, retail or a similar customer-facing setting

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with diverse customer groups

- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, coupled with a consultative selling approach

- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently

- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications

- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer interactions and prioritise effectively

- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences

- Flexibility, resilience and a positive attitude towards challenges and change

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to participate in test drives with customers

- Ideally, knowledge or familiarity with the golf car or automotive industry would be advantageous
