At BMT Tax Depreciation, every role plays an important part – and this one helps turn property information into reports our clients rely on.

As a Client Services Officer, you’ll work behind the scenes in a supportive team, following clear processes and using our systems to prepare accurate tax depreciation reports. You don’t need any prior knowledge of property or tax – in fact, very few people start this role knowing anything about property tax depreciation, and that’s completely normal.

You’ll receive comprehensive training over your first three months to build confidence, develop knowledge, and ensure you’re set up for long-term success.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with detail and takes pride in doing things accurately. Your contribution will directly deliver real financial value to clients across Australia, making your work meaningful from day one.

In this role, your day-to-day work will include:

- Reviewing property information, photos, and measurements

- Entering information into our systems

- Researching and estimating building and asset costs using our in-house guides

- Carefully checking reports to ensure accuracy

- Following established processes and meeting agreed deadlines

- Responding to straightforward questions from clients or accountant

- Working closely with your team to support shared goals

About You

We know our industry is niche, so we’re not looking for years of experience or a long list of qualifications.

You’re likely to be a great fit if you:

- Have strong attention to detail and enjoy accuracy-focused work

- Are comfortable using office software (such as Excel, Outlook, and databases)

- Are keen to learn and follow clear processes

- Communicate clearly and professionally

- Are organised and manage your time well

- Enjoy working independently while contributing to a team
