The Role

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy team on a full time basis. To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Preparing and cooking modern Australian style cuisine

- Accurately measuring and preparing meal ingredients

- Review quality of dishes during all stages of prep and dishing up

- Prepare dishes to meet special dietary requirements

- Correct storing of food in temperate controlled areas

- Confident to work the grills, ovens, fryers and running a pass

- Receive and handle deliveries

- Ability to adhere to strict service time frames for functions and events

- Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

- Undertake training as required to stay ahead with industry trends





- Assist in providing training to junior kitchen staff

- Assist in cleaning

- Maximise profitable food revenue

- Assist with ordering for kitchen and regular stocktake processes

- Maintaining a clean, compliant and efficient kitchen

Who we are looking for:

- Recent experience in a medium to large fast paced kitchen

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Confident to assist with Kitchen staff management

- Enthusiasm and true dedication to producing superior meals

- Great attention to detail, highly organised and able to multi-task

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking

- Available to work weekends, public holidays, day shifts and evening shifts

- Own reliable transport

You must have valid working rights in Australia.
