We are looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer Water to join our Water Services team.
In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the protected and efficient delivery of water and sewerage services across the Cassowary Coast region. Working collaboratively with a skilled team, you will assist with the construction, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater infrastructure, helping to ensure essential services are delivered to our community.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in delivering quality outcomes and is committed to workplace safety. Ongoing training and development will be provided to support your career in the water industry.
Benefits
- $61,025 p.a. + super + allowances
- Ongoing Full Time + Fortnightly RDO
- 5 Weeks Annual Leave + 3 Weeks Personal Leave

About the Role
- Construct, maintain and repair water mains and service connections.
- Respond to faults, customer requests and emergency call-outs as required.
- Operate tablets, GIS mapping systems and digital work management tools.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver safe and efficient water services.
- Maintain positive customer relations and represent Council professionally at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in tropical conditions.
- Experience in civil construction, water, sewerage or similar field-based work.
- Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence and General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
