Are you a creative communicator who knows how to turn great ideas into engaging stories, campaigns and experiences?
Burnie Arts is looking for a Marketing and Engagement Officer to help promote our programs, events and creative opportunities and connect our audiences with everything happening across Burnie Arts.
This is a hands-on role where you will bring your marketing skills, creativity and community focus together to develop engaging content across digital, social media, print and other channels.
What you will be doing
You will play an important role in promoting Burnie Arts and building strong connections with our audiences. Your work will include:
- Developing and delivering marketing and promotional campaigns for Burnie Arts programs, events and activities.
- Creating engaging content for social media, websites, e-newsletters and other digital platforms.
- Developing and coordinating print and promotional materials.
- Supporting audience development and engagement initiatives.
- Building relationships with internal teams, artists, community groups, media and other stakeholders.
- Helping ensure Burnie Arts has a robust, consistent and engaging public presence.
- Monitoring marketing activity and using insights to help improve audience engagement.
- Coordinating marketing activities and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
About you
We are looking for someone who is creative,
organised and confident, with a passion for marketing, communications and the arts.
You will bring:
- Experience in marketing, communications, engagement or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent digital and social media skills.
- The ability to create engaging content for a range of audiences and platforms.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- An eye for detail and a practical, can-do approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a range of people.
- Experience with graphic design and Adobe Creative Cloud would be highly regarded.
