About the role

As a member of the Executive leadership team and reporting to the CEO, the Director of Consumer Directed Care & Primary Health Care will contribute to the development of strategies for the future success, growth and competitiveness of CCPC.

The role will also be required to manage and lead a team, maintain responsibility for the effective provision of services and ensure quality delivery of CCPC programs, from our main site in Tuggerah but with operations across the North Coast and expanding.

The Director will be required to undertake a range of tasks including but not limited to the following:

- Provide direction and oversight of the clinical leads across all programs and services.
- Identify opportunities for growth, synergies and improvements across the portfolio in disability and primary care together with the Chief Growth Officer.
- Take accountability and report on for program deliverables, targets,



and outcomes on a monthly basis including budget and P&L; accountability.
- Remain well informed with industry developments and guidelines which may impact on program outcomes and deliverables.
- Ensure that service policies and practices meet all legislative, compliance and funding body requirements.
- Ensure close, effective and team-oriented networks with relevant Government and non-Government organisations are developed and maintained.
- Represent CCPC on internal and external committees.
- Participate in tender submissions and identify areas of service innovation and growth in collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer.

Key Selection Criteria

- Relevant tertiary qualification in either management and/or Health, Community, Human Services, Mental Health, Disability, Allied Health, Nursing or related discipline and/or extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated senior management experience within consumer-directed care, primary health, NDIS, aged care or a related human services sector.
- Sound understanding of contemporary service delivery in consumer directed care and/or primary health and working knowledge of evidence-based and solution focused practice.
- In depth knowledge of NDIS, quality standards, safeguarding and risk management frameworks.
- Track record in meeting KPIS and delivering on budget outcomes.
- Experience in managing a team with proven skills in conflict resolution,



team development, meeting deadlines and managing budgets.
- Demonstrated experience in program evaluation and outcome reporting.
- Proven ability to build relationships and partnerships with health, community, and government stakeholders.
- Understanding of tender/grant writing processes
- Experience in leading the accreditation process across a variety of settings.
- Ability and willingness to travel across Central Coast and CCPC’s Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour sites.
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a Criminal Record Check (CRC) issued within the last 12 months that includes working with vulnerable groups
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) to be obtained and maintained at your own expense
