We'll be honest: we've worked with plenty of people who are technically excellent and genuinely unsafe. The two don't cancel each other out — at CHILL, we need both. If you believe safety is someone else's job, this probably isn't the right team for you.

The role

Think F1 pit crew.

Trucks arrive, stock needs to move, orders need to be picked and packed, and everything needs to be ready to go — fast, accurately and safely.

Pick & pack is the main game here - you'll spend roughly 75% of your time on it, with the other 25% on the forklift, keeping stock moving around the warehouse.

That means getting stock to the right place, orders packed accurately and everything ready at the dock before the driver's finished their pre-trip. You keep the warehouse moving — safely, efficiently and without the fuss.

Your job is to make everyone else's job possible.

You're not necessarily the loudest part of the operation — but pull you out of it and everyone notices pretty quickly.

What you'll actually be doing

- Pick and pack duties across the warehouse (around 75% of your shift)

- Operating a forklift for stock movement and pallet flow (around 25% of your shift) in a temperature-controlled workplace — including cold store and freezer zones

- Using equipment safely around pedestrian team members — maintaining clearance distances and speed limits at all times

- Completing pre-use equipment checks before every shift

- Moving stock to pick locations, supporting loading and unloading as needed

- Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and safety concerns — before something happens, not after

- Keeping your work area clean, organised, and compliant with CHILL safety standards

What we're looking for





- Current, valid LF forklift licence — this is a hard requirement

- High Reach experience is highly desirable

- Right to work in Australia

- Genuine safety awareness — not just 'I've done the course'

- Comfortable working in cold and freezer environments for extended periods

- Physically fit and alert — this is an active, demanding role

- Reliable and consistent — safe operation depends on showing up focused every shift

- A team-player mindset — your work affects everyone around you
