About the Role:
We are seeking an organised and proactive Customer Service Officer to join our Community Services Administration team located in the Hopwood Centre, providing high-quality reception and administrative support to consumers, clinicians, and the wider health service.
As the first point of contact for many consumers accessing Community Services, you'll play a vital role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and efficient service. Working within a supportive team environment, you'll provide reception, appointment booking, referral processing, document management, and general administrative support.
Key responsibilities include:
· Manage appointments, bookings, cancellations and clinician schedules.
· Answer and direct telephone enquiries.
· Process referrals and maintain accurate consumer records. Manage electronic and hard-copy documentation and filing systems.
· Coordinate meeting and consulting room bookings.
· Process mail, payments and general correspondence.
· Support clinicians and service programs with administrative tasks.
· Monitor office consumables and arrange maintenance requests as required.
· Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications/experience required:
· Demonstrated reception and administrative experience with a robust customer service focus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Robust organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems.
