About the role

Kiaora Park Pet Care is seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our team in Sutton, NSW. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a rewarding animal care environment. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of the animals in our care. Your work will directly contribute to providing a comfortable and clean workplace for our guests, making a meaningful difference in their experience whilst they stay with us.

What you'll be doing

- Cleaning and sanitising kennels, enclosures and common areas to maintain high hygiene standards

- Preparing and serving meals and fresh water to animals according to dietary requirements and feeding schedules

- Providing daily exercise and enrichment activities for animals in our care

- Monitoring the health and behaviour of animals and reporting any concerns to management

- Assisting with basic grooming tasks, including brushing and bathing animals

- Handling and transporting animals safely and calmly

- Maintaining accurate records of animal intake, care and feeding

- Supporting the reception team with general administrative tasks as required

- Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored

- Following all health, safety and animal welfare protocols at all times

What we're looking for

- A genuine passion for animal care and welfare

- Physical fitness and stamina for a role involving standing, lifting and physical activity throughout shifts

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude





- Ability to remain calm and patient when working with animals

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards

- Basic knowledge of animal handling and behaviour (relevant experience or training is advantageous)

- Flexibility to work casual shifts, including weekends and public holidays
