NewSpec is looking for a practical, organised and proactive Logistics and Asset Coordinator to join our Business Support Team.

This is much more than a dispatch role. You'll take ownership of the movement and management of NewSpec's goods and physical assets—from freight and customs clearance through to inventory, demonstration equipment, company assets and day-to-day dispatch.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll become the go-to person for NewSpec's logistics and physical assets, including:

- Coordinating domestic and international freight and customs clearance.

- Receiving, packing and dispatching equipment and goods.

- Managing inventory, stocktakes and warehouse activities.

- Maintaining our Asset Register and tracking company equipment.

- Coordinating demonstration equipment across the business.

- Managing business assets including computers, monitors and mobile phones.

- Coordinating returned equipment and RMAs.

- Managing consumables, spare parts and office supplies.

- Sharing reception and front-of-house responsibilities.

- Working closely with our Order Fulfilment Coordinator and wider Business Support Team.

- Finding better and simpler ways of doing things.

About You

You'll ideally have experience in logistics, warehousing, dispatch, inventory management,



supply chain coordination or a similar environment.

More importantly, you'll be someone who:

- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

- Takes ownership and follows things through.

- Can manage competing priorities without losing track of the details.

- Enjoys solving practical problems.

- Communicates well with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

- Takes safety seriously and uses good judgement.

- Is comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.

You'll need a current Australian Driver's Licence and experience operating a pallet jack. Experience with international freight, customs, inventory or asset systems, pallet preparation and securing loads for transport (including metal strapping), ERP systems or MYOB would be an advantage.

A Hands-On Role

Our deliveries range from tiny components through to large pieces of scientific equipment, so this position involves regular manual handling.

You'll need to assess each task and determine the safest way to move equipment and goods, including using mechanical aids or assistance where required.
