EZIKIT Kitchens has been designing and manufacturing quality kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and custom cabinetry for 22 years. Our reputation has been built on practical design, reliable service and attention to detail.

We are looking for an experienced or capable Showroom Consultant / Designer to join our team. Ideally this will be a full-time position, however we would also consider permanent part-time for the right person.

About the role

This is a varied role combining customer consultation, practical design and detailed work. You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, supported by years of system development, while connecting with our manufacturing team.

Responsibilities include:

- Meeting with customers in our showroom to understand their projects and ideas.

- Helping customers make practical layout, product and material selections.

- Designing kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and other custom cabinetry.

- Preparing quotations and estimates.

- Producing detailed CAD drawings and project documentation.

- Managing the design phase of projects through revisions and customer decisions.

- Working closely with our production team to ensure projects flow smoothly from design through to manufacture.

- Participating in our Saturday showroom roster rotation.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.





- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.

- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing accurate work.

- Has positive practical judgement and can balance creativity with what works in the real world.

- Is confident using computers and learning new systems.

- Works well within a team-oriented team.

- Takes ownership of their work and is willing to learn and continually improve.

Experience in kitchen & cabinetry design would be highly regarded. Experience in interior design, drafting, cabinetry or residential construction may also provide a strong foundation for the role.

Previous experience using cabinetry specific design software would be a significant advantage. We use CabMaster, however experience with other cabinetry design packages would also be valuable.
