Precast Estimator / Project Manager

Location: Cradoc, Tasmania
Employment Type: Full Time

Duggans is seeking a suitably skilled, qualified and motivated Precast Estimator / Project Manager to join our Precast Division.

This is a diverse role supporting the tendering, estimating and delivery of precast concrete projects, working closely with clients, engineers, architects, draftsmen and site teams from tender stage through to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit tenders, estimates and quotations for precast projects.

- Review and interpret structural, architectural and shop drawings.

- Assist with planning, programming and management of precast projects.

- Liaise with draftsmen, architects, engineers, site managers, clients and other stakeholders.

- Coordinate the manufacture and delivery requirements of precast elements.

- Arrange and coordinate deliveries of precast products to site.

- Monitor project timelines and ensure key deadlines are achieved.

- Maintain accurate project documentation and communication throughout each project.

About You

The successful applicant will ideally have:

- Experience in estimating, project management, construction or a related field.





- The ability to read and interpret structural, architectural and shop drawings.

- Practical knowledge of engineering practices, terminology and construction industry standards.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Good computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Experience within the precast concrete or construction industry would be highly regarded.
