Talk It Out Services

Adelaide

A new Psychology & Speech Pathology practice. A chance to be part of it from the beginning.

Talk It Out Services is opening a brand-new Psychology and Speech Pathology clinic in Mawson Lakes and we're looking for Speech Pathologists to join our team.

We're building the kind of practice we'd want to work in ourselves. Modern, flexible, well-supported and genuinely interested in creating an environment where clinicians can build a career they're proud of.

Why join Talk It Out Services?

Your workday doesn't have to look like everyone else's.

Some people do their best work early. Others prefer later appointments.

We'll sit down with you and design a working week that balances your clinical sessions, protected administration time and life outside work.

That could mean earlier appointments, later appointments, different start and finish times or a combination that best suits your working style.

We want to create a working week that works for you, while meeting the needs of the clients and the practice.

Protected administration time

Your working day will include dedicated, protected administration time for case notes, preparation, reports, professional responsibilities and everything that comes with delivering high-quality clinical care.

We believe clinical expectations should be clear, realistic and sustainable, with your workload structured accordingly.

Dedicated administrative support

You'll have a dedicated administration team supporting appointment scheduling, enquiries, intake and day-to-day practice administration.

Modern technology that makes work easier

You'll be provided with a MacBook and access to modern practice systems, including technology designed to streamline clinical administration and secure AI-assisted documentation tools where clinically and professionally appropriate.

A brand-new clinical environment

You'll work from our new Mawson Lakes clinic, with large consulting rooms, natural light and external views in a modern space designed specifically around our team and clients.

Build a caseload around your interests

Where referral demand allows, we'll work with you to develop a caseload aligned with your clinical strengths, interests and professional goals.

As new referral relationships and opportunities develop, we'll work with you to explore services that align with your clinical interests and the needs of the clients.

Supervision and professional development

Professional growth should be part of your working week, not something squeezed in when there's time.

You'll receive:

- Fortnightly protected supervision

- $500 annual professional development allowance

- Support for ongoing professional development

- Opportunities to develop new areas of clinical interest as the practice grows

And the little things matter too

You'll also receive:

- Paid birthday leave

- Regular team events and investment in team connection

- Modern equipment and systems

- Full-time and part-time opportunities

- Flexible working days and start/finish times

- Genuine input into how the clinic and culture develop

We're open to different levels of experience and clinical interests.

More important to us is finding people who:

- Deliver thoughtful, evidence-based and person-centred care

- Build strong relationships with clients and families

- Value high clinical standards

- Communicate openly and work well within a team

- Want to continue developing professionally

- Take ownership of their work while valuing support and collaboration

- Want to contribute to a positive workplace culture

- Are excited by the opportunity to help shape a recent practice

You'll have:

- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia

- Relevant Speech Pathology qualification (Bachelor, Masters)

- Experience providing evidence-based Speech Pathology assessment and intervention

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team
